Family is a vocation. It is the great vital project, by excellence, of life. All of us are called in some way to form a family. The family constitutes the fundamental project of life. The family gives meaning to life because children are the meaning of life. Because of the evolution of modern life, the family has evolved, and different forms of families exist. But the important thing is not the form, but it’s substance, this is, that it is founded in Love and that it is a canal of transmission of God’s Love.

Family is not the problem as it seems to be in certain areas of modern life. The family is the solution. The economic, social, and cultural dysfunction of our society are related to the fact that other sectors of modern society have stopped believing in the family, within the box of resonation, of all the contradictions of our society.

Although, it is inside of the family where one can find and discover authentic love stories, of surrender and sacrifice for others. From here the Holy character of the institution of the family.

The family constitutes the basic cell of society, the first level of protection of the individual in front of society and the State. The family brings two fundamental sources; affective support, that is, love, given that in the family one learns to love and the other part economics, because through the family the basic needs of a person are satisfied. For these reasons the family constitutes the basic cell of protection of the individual and it avoids the individual from staying on the outside of an omnipresent and omnipotent State or a society lacking values. Through the family we confront and overcome adversities. Inside of the family we learn to love, to share, to learn the value of money and work, we learn to sacrifice ourselves and to strive, we learn to reach goals. We all come from a family, no matter how imperfect it may be, and all of us are called, in some way, to form a family. Whoever does not procreate turns off or extinguishers in themselves. For that, the family is synonymous with transcendence.

A society that renounces to procreate and perpetuate is condemned to disappear. Thanks to the family the individual transcends history and perpetuates the species and his personal legacy.
